i undertook some mad wardriving today. i drove from john's house in penn cove to highway 20 going north, and then cut off through titus's neighborhood to fort nugent road, and from there took swantown to heller and then cut through those apartments to get onto barrington and make my way back home. i found 29 access points - only seven were making use of WEP, and one of those seven was mine. that's 22 places to wreak untold havoc if i were so inclined. i wonder if osama has ever heard of linksys?

one of the access point owners had the technical skill to change his SSID to 'm4r1ju4n4' but still didn't have wep enabled. wtf?
